Critically acclaimed rock bands Brand New and Modest Mouse have announced plans for a co-headlining tour throughout the U.S. this summer.
The 24-date trek kicks off June 28 in Magna, UT, and stops at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater (Morrison, CO; June 29), Madison Square Garden (New York; July 14), The Forum (Los Angeles; July 27) and the Greek Theater (Berkeley, CA; July 29) before wrapping July 30 in Seattle.
Presale tickets are available now at fightoffyourdemons.com, with general sale for all shows going live on Friday, January 29.
The tour offers fans an immersive, unique experience with no opening acts and both bands performing full headlining sets. It also marks the first time Brand New and Modest Mouse have toured together, having previously performed at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY, and Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY.
Over the past 16 years, Brand New have cemented themselves as one of the most fearless acts in alternative rock. The New York-based quartet have released multiple critically acclaimed records and have cultivated a legion of passionate fans who make their performances around the world instant sellouts.
Brand New are currently prepping new material and released the single “Mene,” their first music since 2009, early last year. In addition to the summer tour, Brand New are taking further steps with their own label, Procrastinate! Music Traitors. The label has already released Brand New’s Leaked Demos 2006 via cassette and digital download and has plans for releases in 2016 from Greater Pyrenees, Kevin Devine, and Brand New themselves.
