It's a wonder that Caspian hasn't scored any films yet. The Massachusetts post-rock group builds patient, immersive, epic builds that would fit perfectly on a Christopher Nolan soundtrack; the band's eventual furious, vengeful climaxes are more exhilarating than any Inception button.
"Dust and Disquiet" is the band's fourth album, and the first since 2012's "Waking Season," which received rapturous acclaim from critics. This one shows the band incorporating horns, strings, and vocal lines into its already dense, carefully intricate soundscapes.
